Are the birds harmed during the removal?

No. We never harm animals and take extreme measures not to harm birds or their young. Some birds are protected and require following specific safe handling practices. If the birds have eggs we place them in a box close to their original location so that the mother can tend to the eggs.

Birds nest anywhere that is off the ground and safe from predators. Common places include roof vents, wall vents, gutters, garages, under porches, and roofs and windows.
